On my list first is to wish all a very Merry Christmas. I hope you or most of you are all in and safe from this winter weather. I am sure this weather will upset lots of Christmas Day plans. There is always the phone. The city crews are out working and doing the best they can. Seems the wind is keeping the snow drifting over the streets and sounds like we will get 7-11 inches here. That means 12 hour shifts until the end of next week. I am used to working the holidays as I dispatch and that is what we do. The head of our department is here and says Santa has hit his house and the kids are tucked in bed waiting for a little later in the morning. Our Boss seems so excited for his kids and Christmas. With this weather being so bad he had come in to check on our work and make sure we are all OK.
I was up at 4:00 on the 24th baking 12 dozen cookies by 6:00 I ran out of ingredient's so hit the road to Walmart...Yes, It was busy at that time to. I had to make a return at 10:00AM and it was horrible out there. I was in and out in five minutes. I cheated on my return I went to the money order lane and pleaded my case. Thank you customer service!!!!
I have many things to catch up on work so I hope you have a Joyful Christmas. Just remember if you can not get out this Christmas you are not alone. This is important Keep dry, safe and out of the wind.
My love to all of you and Merry Christmas! Tootles
