Here I am back at work and the street crews are still have to battle the wind. The drifts just keep coming back and popping up more every where. Our day dispatcher was picked up by the guys and they took her home too. She lives on a good city street. I drove to work tonight with little problem other than my drive. Keith had spent 3-4 hours on it this afternoon. It has filled up again. I am in the truck so that was a a big help.
Now as for the people in this city...Screw balls...I think in a city of 75 thousand ..150 thousand of them called wanting to know why in the you know what the city was not out cleaning the streets....Oh and then after expaling to them we were dealing with snow on snow and more to come and wind they said I was rude!!!! Me rude.. Just stated the facts to them. I sure didn't tell them what I wanted to...citizens got to love them!!
The stores will be opening early in the morning and half the drives have not even been started on yet. I did not get enough sleep yesterday and looks like today will be the same. You know what I don't care it is the Holiday and I have learned to adapt. When I fist started these hours I was doing good to get 2-3 hours sleep and well I was sick and grouchy. Some how I have figured out the right combination of sleep aides that I can get some sleep.
Looks like I have to take care of a semi broke down on a rail road track and I need to get it closed down before a train comes to down.
