December

I have been off work for a few days sick. I needed the time away from work to regroup. While, I was off work I did accomplish getting Christmas cards out and the house decorated including my little tree. The wreaths are hung on the fences. I had several in which I had planned to give to be an elf and leave on friends fences too. My mom had other ideas for them. I gave her two but she thinks she needs more. They have moved into a smaller home out of the big Victorian home. It had 3 floors and a finished basement with Hmm. I don't now 5 bathrooms. Now they are down to a ranch home with 3 bathrooms. I do hope they stay well for the winter. Today it is not looking so good my Dad has been sick in bed all day and refuses to go to the doctor. I think they are doing to much running around in the cold. what are you going to do. They are grown and what they taught us did not stick with them. Oh well.

I am not buying to many gifts as most of us are grown. My 29 year old daughter is still keeping my grandchildren away from me. I suppose I am such a bad influence. this will be the 5th year of her keeping her children away. One day as we all know what goes around comes around. She thinks of her self as the worlds best mother and her children will never rebel against her. At any rate she is happy. I sure hate it that those children are not given the opportunity to know my family and be able to know the Love of a Horse.

I worked so hard to get where I am at. It is not easy to raise kids by yourself and still reach the goals you have set. I was able to give my kids both places to live when they were in need. I gave them cars so they would not have to sit home. I bought a swimming pool to play in when it was to hot to ride the horses. I paid for concert tickets, well you name it I have done it for them and done it with out being married.
I have had plenty of offers for marriage. I just choose not to marry again. That is not say I would not ever marry. Heck, Mr Right might be just around the corner. that is all on that depressing subject for now.

I moved the horses all to the same pasture. They are easier to take care of in the winter when they are in the same pasture. I was so surprised there was no fighting or chasing each other. I am amazed. My boys just look at my mare and walk a wide path away from her. Raven is still a good mom to Snickers. Even if Snickers is bigger than Raven at 8 months. I was hoping Snickers would stay short. NO such luck. I am just going to have to find some one tall to ride her. Unless she lets me prop a ladder next to her and then she would have to pull it around with us while we are riding.
It does appear the cold weather is here to stay and riding the horses is out until spring of 2010. Wow, that sounds like such a long time away.

Happy Holidays to you and yours from little ole me!!!
