These pictures were taken after the blizzard and the beginning of the new snow in Jan. The drifts are on my road and are over 5 foot tall, In fact they brought out the "SNOW GO" to knock the drifts out on this road. It was horrible.
We all hear the horror stories of how people had to crawl out their bathroom windows to get out side. That is after the drifts blocked them in their houses.
After this last storm I could crawl out my bathroom window right on the snow. If I had a way I would take a picture and post it as it is hard to believe.
The first picture is my sheltie Missy she loves to be out running in the snow. Once she is in the house she grabs a toy and lays quietly and hardly ever barks.
The picture of the barn is the one that is coming down so if anyone wants something off it let me know. Many things have been spoken for but so far the tin is available and some wood. I think we will just use a chain saw to cut the post off straight with the ground. I am sure it will all fill in where it needs too and no harm will come to my horses hooves or feet. Everything under ground is pretty much rotten. We will burn the rotten stuff. There are some gates and some other things in the barn that is usable. I think I still have a metal cabinet like you hang on the wall available. Well just ask and I will let you know and put it on the list of
