According to my job it is. I have had crews in all night. How ever thsy are salting the streets this morning. It sounds like we are in for a huge amount of snow by the time I come back to work. Then I will be off for a few days. Can hardly wait for those days off.
So far no accidents from this storm that tells you how bad it really is..Oh I know it is not bad at all in fact the streets are dry. Do you suppose over time money is a key reason to be in for 12 hour shifts. Well, Christmas is just a few weeks away. I think every one will be happy for a little extra in their wallet.
I sure hope we miss this next storm. I would like to move where it is warm and sunny with out the tropical storms. Sounds like heaven is the only place to be. If there was such a nice warm place I would be moving there. This part of the country is not to bad. I think my job just requires so much of me this time of year that I hate it. I don't like driving in it any more.
My sidewalk crews are in and so far we have had only one problem. One of my drivers locked himself out of his truck with his spreader on. Yep, he was over the bridge at the airport and my on call garage guy was not in sooooo. Had to call in another garage supervisor. Neither of my supervisors are to happy about that. Now there is HUGE pile of salt in the middle of the highway we have to clear out.

Today was not to bad at all in fact I wish I had filled up the horses water tank.
I have not heard from my riding buddy in few days. Maybe her gradma is doing better. Let's hope.
