Global Warming

I am sure we had global warmer or a small part of it today. At 1:30PM it was 11 degrees above ZERO! It was so nice to see the sun and the streets in town were melting the ice and snow away. As much treatment as the city put on there it shouldn't take much to clear the streets. MODOT, the City and all the small towns have had a long ride. With this our worst storms in 20 years, Vehicles breaking down. citizens that do not have a clue what it takes to make this happen. All of our workers have worked 12 hour shifts 24 hours a day 7 days a week since Christmas Eve. For many of us we will remember it as the year we had to give up Christmas. Not that the city employees where alone. The rural area and low areas were all snow bound with drifts 7-12 foot high. I am sure there are some that was even higher. We have ran out of places to pile the snow. Now comes the clean up with warming temps. we will have to move the snow out of downtown and prepare for another round with old man winter.
The foxes are coming closer to the barn which is fine. They can have all the mice they want. Now, we have a bobcat living in the old barn. I don't think it will bother the horses as they are all pretty good size. I do worry about the cats.
I am about worn down because of the cold. I believe many of us are.
On that note take care of your selves and each other. Tootles
