Victoria Hill Farms

Working the graveyard shift a person needs something to keep their mind active. So here I am with so many of my friends. Lets see if I can come with half as much as they do.
All ready I am a loss for words. Since this is all new to me I will be short on the first blog.
I did go to an auction yesterday. For some reason I never come home empty handed. I bought a huge mirror with a gold frame for 20 bucks. I have seen them in stores for around $100. or more. I also bought some carpet and bucket bar stools. Some hanicap things for mom. Saw a few people I knew as it was a short sale 2 hours tops. I did have fun in the colder temps. By the time I got home it was lunch time and then time for me to clean up and off to bed. Today is the time change and I am stuck working the extra hour. With out the pay for it. Oh well. guess someone has to do it.
My horses are doing well. Freckles came home the other day is finally letting her foal have a little contact with her. Snickers had her hooves trimmed the other day. She is five months old and stood better than some older horses I have had. She will grow into a wonderful horse. She will load in a trailer now. Does a good job on the halter. With winter just around the corner her training will stop soon.
Hope you all had a good October lets hope for a mild winter.
